Nos. 241 and 487, 1902.—Petitions of Pukepuke Tangiora and 2 Others, and Arihi te Nahu and 17 Others.

Petitioners pray for rehearing in connection with the Poukawa Block, near Te Aute.

I am directed to report that as the Committee is advised that legislation is being prepared to deal with the case of the Poukawa Block it has no recommendation to make.

6th August, 1903.

Nos. 241 me 487, 1902.—Pitihana a Pukepuke Tangiora me etahi atu tokorua; Arihi te Nahu me etahi atu tekau ma whitu.

E inoi ana nga kai-pitihana kia whakawakia tuaruatia a Poukawa Poraka, e tata ana ki Te Aute.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, i te mea kua whakaaturia ki te Komiti kei te whakahaerea tetahi Pire hei whakaoti i te keehi mo Poukawa Poraka, kaore kau ana kupu mo runga i tenei pitihana.
