Reports of the Native Affairs Committee, 1903.

[No. 259, 1902.—Petition of Ngarangi Katitia.]

No. 259, 1902.—Petition of Ngarangi Katitia.

Petitioner refers to his petition of 1895, in which he prays for investigation in connection with ownership of the Manawapou Block, between Whenuakura and Waitotara; and prays for consideration.

I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion that the recommendation made on the petition referred to—viz., that inquiry be made by the Magistrate of the district—should be given effect to as soon as possible.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro o te Komiti ko ta ratou whakatau mo te pitihana kua whakamaharatia nei, ara, me tuku taua take ma te Kai-whakawa Tuturu o te Takiwa e uiui, me tere tonu te whakatutuki.
