Reports of the Native Affairs Committee, 1903.

[No. 73, 1902.—Petition of Nepe Patehau and 40 Others. (No. 3.)]

No. 73, 1902.—Petition of Nepe Patehau and 40 Others. (No. 3.)

Petitioners pray for inclusion in the certificate of title to Te Pae-o-Turawaru No. 2 Block, near Te Aroha. They allege that the persons already in the same are merely there as trustees.

I am directed to report that, as the petitioners still have a remedy open to them under subsection (10) of section 14 of "The Native Land Court Act, 1904," the Committee has no recommendation to make.

24th July, 1903.
