Final Report.

I have the honour to report that the Native Affairs Committee held its final meeting on Friday last, 26th September, 1902.

Including twenty-seven brought forward from last session, eighty-nine petitions were before the Committee. Of these, thirty-one were considered and reported on; the remaining fifty-eight, as per schedule attached, are unavoidably held over.

The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act Amendment Bill was also received for consideration and duly reported on.

I have also to report that the Committee, at the conclusion of the business for the session, passed unanimous votes of thanks to the Chairman, the clerk (Mr. Hackworth), and the interpreter (Mr. Barclay).
