No. 65, 1902. —Petition of Arapata Topi te Kuru and 3 Others.

Petitioners pray for investigation into the will of the late Rawinia Tukeke, by which they allege that they have been deprived of certain lands in the Porangahau district.

I am directed to report that, as this matter has been settled by the Supreme Court on a case stated by the Native Appellate Court, the Committee has no recommendation to make.

No. 65, 1902. —Arapata Topi te Kuru me etahi atu toko-toru.

E inoi ana nga kai-pitihana kia whakawakia te wira o Rawinia Tukeke, kua mate, i te mea e ki ana ratou kua tangohia i a ratou e taua wira etahi whenua i te takiwa o Porangahau.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, i te mea kua whakataua tenei take e te Hupirimi Kooti i runga i tetahi keehi i tukuna atu ki a ia e te Kooti Piira Maori, na reira kaore kau he kupu a te Komiti.
