Petitioners pray for rehearing in connection with Maungatapu and Te Au-o-Waikato Blocks.

I am directed to report that the Committee considers that an injustice has been done by the decisions of the Native Appellate Court against the descendants of Te Werewere, and recommends that the petitions be referred to the Government for the purpose of having legislation introduced to give the relief asked for.
