Petitioners pray for rehearing in connection with Tokomaru K and B Blocks.

I am directed to report that, as one of the principal parties concerned (Colonel Porter) is absent from the colony, the Committee is of opinion it would be inadvisable to go into the merits of the page 19case until his return, but in the meantime the Government should delay the issue of titles to the land in question, and for this purpose it is recommended that these petitions should be referred to the Government.
