Petitioners, who are residents of Whangarae, near Nelson, pray for assistance to purchase a vessel to carry their produce to market, they being heavily handicapped by present exorbitant charges of conveyance.
I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that this petition be referred to the Government for consideration.
