No. 348, 1897.—Petition of Numia Kereru and 58 others.
Petitioners pray that instigation may be made into the ownership of the Tuhua-Ruatoki No. 1 Block, Urewera district, in order that certain persons, whom they allege to have been wrongfully admitted, may be removed from the title.
I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that this petition be referred to the Government for consideration.

No. 348, 1897.—Pitihana a Numia Kereru me etahi atu e rima tekau ma waru.
E inoi ana nga kai-pitihana kia whakawakia a Tuhua-Ruatoki Nama 1 Poraka, takiwa o Te Urewera, kia pana ai ia etahi tangata, e ki nei ratou, i uru he ki taua whenua.
Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro o te Komiti me tuku atu tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia whiriwhiria.
