No. 270.—Petition of Pouwhareumu Toi.
Petitioner alleges that the descendants of Toi have been wrongfully deprived of their rights in the Turangatapuae Block, Taranaki District; and prays for restitution or other relief.
I am directed to report that, as this matter was fully inquired into and settled by the West Coast Royal Commission, this Committee has no recommendation to make.

E ki ana nga kia-pitihana he uri ratou no Toi a kua tangohia hetia o ratou take paanga ki Turangatapuae Poraka, Takiwa o Taranaki; a e inoi ana kia whakahokia atu to ratou whenua kia hoatu ranei tetahi atu ora mo ratou.
Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, i te mea i tino uiuia a i whakaotia tenei putake e te Roiara Komihana mo te Tai Hauauru, kaore kau he kupu a tenei Komiti.
