Reports of the Native Affairs Committee, 1895

[No. 51.—Petition of Pouwharetapu and 2 Others.]

No. 51.—Petition of Pouwharetapu and 2 Others.

Petitioners allege that, through the north-west boundary of the Wharauroa Block being incorrectly laid out, they lose a portion of their land (Pokaka). They pray for readjustment.

I have the honour to report that the Committee recommend that this petition be referred to the Government for inquiry.

22nd October, 1895.
