No. 335.—Petition of Wiremu Pita Taurua.

Petitioner states that he is the sole owner of Karaka No. 1 Block, which he wishes to sell to the best advantage. He prays that the law may be amended to allow him to do this to whom he pleases.

I have the honour to report that the Committee recommend that provision be made in the Native Bill now before the House to give effect to the prayer of the petitioner.
