No. 308.—Petition of Hone Omipi and 138 Others.

Petitioners pray that the law may be amended to allow them the privilege of selling their lands to whom they please, and of managing their affairs themselves.

I have the honour to report that the Committee recommend that provision be made in the Native Bill now before the House to give effect to the prayer of the petitioners.
