Reports of the Native Affairs Committee, 1895

[No. 185.—Petition of W. H. Taipari and 11 Others.]

No. 185.—Petition of W. H. Taipari and 11 Others.

Petitioners allege that the agreement relating to the Thames Goldfield has been broken, and, in consequence, they are heavy losers. They pray for relief.

I have the honour to report that the Committee recommend this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration, and that effect should be given to the recommendation of the Goldfields and Mines Committee of last year on the same subject.

5th September, 1895.
