Nos. 115 and 123.—Petitions of Iehu te Kupa and 60 Others (No. 1), and Nireaha Tamaki, and 48 Others.

Petitioners pray that their lands may be exempt from taxation.

I have the honour to report that the Committee recommend that these petitions be referred to the Government for consideration with that of H. T. Mahupuku, reported on on the 31st July last.

E whai honore ana ahau ki te ripoata ki te whakaaro a te Komiti me tuku enei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia whiriwhiria tahitia me ta H. T. Mahupuku, i ripoatatia nei i te 31 o Hurae kua taha ake nei.
