No. 422, 1894.—Petition of Meiha Keepa te Rangihiwinui and 2 Others.
Petitioners pray that the Manawapou Block, near Patea, may be handed over to the Natives to manage for themselves.
I have the honour to report that the Committee recommends that this petition be referred to the Government for the purpose of having the matter inquired into by the Stipendiary Magistrate of the district in which the land is situated.
