No. 109.—Petition of Maati te Kani and Another.

Petitioners pray that a portion of the Turiroa Block, which they allege has been wrongfully taken from them, may be returned.

I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion, if the allegations contained in the petition are correct, and it be found that the petitioners have a grievance, that the Government should be recommended to make an inquiry into the matter.

No. 109.—Pitihana a Maati te Kani me tetahi atu.

E inoi ana nga kai-pitihana kia whakahokia atu ki a raua tetahi wahi o Turiroa Poraka, e ki ana hoki raua i tangohia hetia atu taua wahi i a raua.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei: Ki te whakaaro a te Komiti mehemea he tika nga korero o roto o te pitihana, me whai kupu atu ki te Kawanatanga kia uiuia tenei mea.
