No. 522.—Petition of Ihaia Taueki and 75 Others.

Petitioners pray that alienation of any portion of the Horowhenua Block may be stopped until the disputes as regards the alleged Trust are settled.

I have the honour to report that the Committee, having dealt with a similar petition this session, have no further recommendation to make. (See report on Petition No. 351 of Hera te Upokoiri, dated 23rd August, 1893.)

E inoi ana nga kai-pitihana kia kaua e tukua kia hokona kia riihitia kia tukua peheatia ranei tetahi wahi o te Horowhenua Poraka kia oti rano nga raruraru mo runga i te tiaki o taua whenua te whakatau.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei: I te mea kua oti te whakahaere tetahi pitihana penei ano te ahua i tenei Paremete kahore he kupu ke atu a te Komiti. Me titiro te ripoata mo runga i te pitihana Nama 351 a Hera te Upokoiri i tuhia i te 23 o nga ra o Akuhata, 1893.
