Reports of the Native Affairs Committee, 1893.

[No. 490.—Petition of Wi Mahuri te Mataitaua and 2 Others.]

No. 490.—Petition of Wi Mahuri te Mataitaua and 2 Others.

Petitioners allege that the decisions of the Native Land Court in the matter of Aorangi Block were unjust to them. They pray for a further hearing.

I have the honour to report that, as this matter has already been reported on this session, (see report on Petition No. 93, dated 28th July, 1893) and there being no fresh evidence in support of the prayer of petitioner, the Committee has no recommendation to make.

22nd September, 1893.
