Reports of the Native Affairs Committee, 1893.

[No. 440, 1892.—Huru te Hiaro and 2 Others.]

No. 440, 1892.—Huru te Hiaro and 2 Others.

Petitioners allege that through an error in survey, a piece of land containing 5,180 acres situated between the Kaihinu and Mangatainoka Blocks has been wrongfully taken from them; they pray for compensation.

I have the honour to report that the Committee is of opinion that this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry.
