No. 580, 1892.—Petition of Te Ngarupiki.
Petitioner alleges that a block of land called Aotea has been surveyed by a surveyor named "Rakapata" (Rochfort?), who is pressing the Natives for payment of his fees. He (petitioner) prays for relief.
I have the honour to report that the Committee is of opinion that this petition should be referred to the Government.
