Reports of the Native Affairs Committee, 1891, No. 2.

[No. 315, 1889.—Kahui Kararehe (No. 5).]

No. 315, 1889.—Kahui Kararehe (No. 5).

Petitioner states that his name appears on a certain Crown grant as Wiremu Kahui, and that objections have been raised as to his being the person meant. He inquires if any proceedings at law can affect him.

I am directed to report that, this Committee being of opinion that ho difficulties can arise through petitioner’s name appearing as mentioned, they have no recommendation to make.
