On the right stood the home of Captain Dalton, a sea captain who had a large sawmill over by the railway.
page 26On the left notice the lovely little church 'St. John in the Wilderness' built 102 years ago. That name aptly describes it, as this area was dense milling bush and it was built in a little clearing in the heart of the bush. Its centennial was held two years ago conducted by Bishop Sutton.
Notice the Deer Park on the right, opened a few years ago, it attracts a lot of visitors.
