From the last report to hand we learn that the previous year's business left a balance of £16,370 17s 9d to dispose of, which yielded a dividend of 10 perpage 159cent., besides allowing £5000 to be added to the reserve fund, and leaving £1370 17s 9d to be carried forward to the next year. The business of the company is chiefly advancing money on mortgages and making advances on wool and produce consigned to it for sale in the Home markets.
