Conveyance of certain lands in Collingwood to her Majesty under the provisions of "The New Zealand Native Reserves Act, 1856, Clause XIV."

Know all men by these presents that we Tamati Marino, Hori te Koramo, Herewine te Roha, and Riwai Turangapeke, in pursuance of "The New Zealand Native Reserves Act, 1856," do hereby release and convey to her Majesty Victoria Queen of England, her heirs and successors, all, that piece or parcel of land described in the schedule hereunder written, together with all members right and appurtenance thereto belonging, or in anywise appertaining to hold unto her said Majesty, her heirs and successors for ever, subject to the provisions and for the ends intent and purposes of the said "New Zealand Reserves Act, 1856," in witness of our assent to the words here written, we have hereunto subscribed our name and marks.

Schedule referred to in the foregoing Deed.

All that piece of land situate at Aorere, bounded on the eastward by section numbered 197 on sheet number 14 of the plan of the Province of Nelson; on the southward by sections numbered respectively 197,198,199, and 200, on the said sheet; on the westward by part numbered 1 of the reserve marked J, and on the northward by high water mark of Golden or Massacre Bay.

Executed at Collingwood, Province of Nelson, on the sixth day of December, 1859.

I certify that the above is a correct translation of the deed as executed in the Native language.
