Copy of telegram from the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, to the Hon. Colonel Haultain.

Please do not accept Mr. Rolleston's resignation till the Court is over, it would be better that he should be given power (unless he at present has it) fully to represent and bind the Crown, in order that all questions respecting Native lands may be finally settled. Answer urgently desired.
