I am directed by the Officer Administering the Government to acknowledge the receipt of the original deed of purchase of the Murihiku Block from the Natives; also the original conveyance to the Crown of Section No. 401, Port Chalmers, forwarded in your letter of 12th May last, and received here on the 13th September.
