Mr C. Wilson has resigned the editorship of the Napier News, and is about to take the editorship of the Government organ at Rangitikei. Mr Wilson is the best editor the News has had during its chequered career, and his place will not be easily filled. No independent writer can find fair scope for his abilities on a joint-stock newspaper, and Mr Wilson will labor under disadvantages at Rangitikei similar to those under which he has suffered in Napier.
