Acts Affecting Native Lands, Etc. (In English and Maori), Passed by the General Assembly, Session 1892, 1893, 1897, 1898, 1899.

Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.	The Short Title of this Act is "The Electoral Act, 1893."
2.	This Act shall come into force on the day the Governor assents to the same, which is herein referred to as the commencement of this Act.
3.	Words and expressions in this Act importing the masculine gender include women, except where otherwise expressly stated.
