Booklet On New Zealand Railways.

The Railways Department issued recently to all schools in the Dominion a limited number of copies of an attractive booklet dealing with New Zealand railways. The booklet is suitable for children in Standards III. and IV., but the Department suggests that in no case should more than one copy be issued to any one family, and that the booklets should be equally divided between Standards III. and IV. One copy, at least, should be retained for the school library, and it is suggested that the others could be used as rewards for good work in different subjects.
