A Dainty Evening Frock

A Dainty Evening Frock

Dame Fashion has decreed that this winter our evening frocks are to sweep the ground, and we must admit that the effect is much more graceful for dancing.

The smart little frock illustrated on this page you can make yourself quite easily; merely a simple bodice of black taffeta, a broad, close-fitting band at the hips, and a full crisp skirt just below the knee. Now for the touch which fashion demands, a net or tulle overskirt right to the ground, slightly shorter in front. This gives the effect necessary without the unfamiliar discomfort of a long skirt. Finish your frock with a bright flower on the shoulder. Nothing could be easier to make, nor more really smart to wear.
