As a traveller by rail in the United States and other parts of the world, Mr. Foster, United States Trade Commissioner, finds nothing to complain about in the service of the New Zealand Railways. “I tested this,” he said to a representative of ‘The Post,’ “on a recent trip to and from Auckland, using a sleeper. I reckon that the accommodation on your express trains is as good as you will find in most parts of the world.
