“To-day”
“To-day”
“To-morrow!”-
Choke the word-
What of To-day?
Its joy or sorrow
Is quite enough
For man or beast or bird.
So
If has begun
The morning sun
Of happiness to shine.
Go,
Run.
Like wanton boy;
Take Nature's Cup,
Test well her wine,
And sup and sup
The elixir of joy.
Drink deep, drink long,
And sing a song;
Be happy man
Just while you can;
Leave unto Sorrow
Un-born To-morrow;
Grateful and gay
Enjoy To-Day.
