Mr. Robert Lamb Paterson

Mr. Robert Lamb Paterson, senior partner in the firm of Messrs Paterson, Mossman and Company, is a descendant of the founder of the Bank of England, and has inherited financial shrewdness and commercial capacity. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland, where he was trained to mercantile life, and in 1876 came to New Zealand. For some years he was employed in a general provision business in Dunedin, and afterwards took up sheep-farming. In 1895 he established himself in business in Napier as a land and financial agent, which business he has since successfully conducted.
