Watch and Jewellery Trade.

Brunette, John, Goldsmith and Jeweller, Watchmaker, and Optician, High Street, Hawera. P.O. Box 75. Bankers, Bank of New Zealand. Mr. Brunette's business was established in 1882, and is now carried in by himself and his son. The shop is well stocked, and a flourishing business is done by the firm. Mr. Brunette joined the Masonic Lodge, No. 652, Scottish Constitution, Hawera, in 1885, passed various offices, and was secretary for three years. The Lodge afterwards affiliated with the New Zealand Constitution, and Mr. Brunette was installed as Worshipful Master in 1897. Mr. Brunette is further referred to as a member of the Hawera Borough Council.
