The Bank Of New South Wales
The Bank Of New South Wales, New Plymouth, is situated at the corner of Devon Street and Currie Street. The branch was established in Brougham Street, in 1877, and the premises now occupied were erected in 1883. The building is a two-storied one of wood and iron, and contains a banking chamber, a manager's room, and a manager's residence. The staff consists of the manager and his six assistants. There are also branches at Inglewood, Stratford, and Eltham.
