Mr. James Budge , formerly Inspector of Stock for the Queenstown District, was born at Herbert, North Otago, in 1872, educated at the Otepopo school, and was for several years connected with the dairy industry. Mr. Budge was appointed rabbit agent at Naseby in 1895, and later on became inspector of stock for the Queenstown district. He now (1905) occupies a similar position at Stratford, in the provincial district of Taranaki.
