Dr. Ninian George Trotter
Dr. Ninian George Trotter . M. D., C. M. (Edin.), who is Medical Superintendent of the Wallace and Fiord Hospital, Riverton, was born in

1866, at Invercargill, and educated at Nelson College and Otago University. Thence he proceeded to Edinburgh, where he graduated M.B. and C.M., and after some time spent in London hospitals, he took the degree of M.D. On returning to New Zealand, Dr. Trotter practised at Tapanui for five years, until succeeding Dr. Nelson as superintendent of the Wallace and Fiord Hospital at Riverton. He is a Past Master of the Aparima Lodge of Freemasons, and president of the Riverton Rowing and Racing Clubs. Dr. Trotter was married, in 1889, to a daughter of Mr Goodwin, of Bayswater, London, and has two sons and five daughters.
