Wai-Iti.

Seybe, Michael, Farmer, Wai-iti. Mr Seybe was born in Germany on the 4th of August, 1860. He was brought up to farming, and came to Lyttelton by the ship “Zealandia,” in 1870, and settled in the Timaru district, and was at the Levels station for a few years. In 1898 he began to farm sixty-eight acres of land on the Wai-iti Road, where he has since resided. He still takes contracts for ploughing and agricultural work. Mr. Seybe was married on the 29th of November, 1883, to a daughter of Mr. S. Morgan, of Timaru, and has six sons and three daughters.
