wooden building with seating accommodation for 600 persons. The interior of the church is rich in decorations, those of the altar being particularly beautiful and chaste. St. Mary's, the adjoining convent, and the boys' and girls' school, were built through the untiring efforts of the present Vicar-General, the Very Rev. imeophilus Le Menant de Chesnais, and the present rector. The present rector is the Rev. M. J. Marnane, S.M., whose curate is the Rev. D. Gillais, S.M.
