The Buckinghamshire

The Buckinghamshire.

Over five hundred passengers were brought out by the Buckinghamshire, 1468 tons, Captain Harland, which visited Dunedin in 1874. This was the only occasion upon which the ship came to New Zealand. Leaving the Old Country on March 11, 1874, she crossed the Line 23 days from the Downs. The Snares were sighted on May 27, and Port Chalmers was reached 78 days from the Downs.
