Corrections to “The Lizards of New Zealand”

(Dominion Museum Bulletin No. 17 — 1955)

On arranging the ‘foundation drawings and notes’ on which the publication was based, I discovered, to my horror, that the legends to Plates X and XI had been transposed. Undoubtedly, this transposition has caused and will cause, in the future, much confusion, I therefore hasten to make the necessary corrections:

Plate X (p. 86); For Leiolopisma grande waimatense sub.sp.nov. Read Leiolopisma homalonotum (Boulenger): For Leiolopisma fallai sp.nov. Read Leiolopisma suteri (Boulenger).

Plate XI (p. 90); For Leiolopisma homalonotum (Boulenger) Read Leiolopisma grande waimatense (Gray) sub.sp.nov. For Leiolopisma suteri (Boulenger) Read Leiolopisma fallai sp.nov.
