The above illustrations shew:—(1) Purchasing tickets at the Central Booking Office, Wellington: (2) the New Plymouth express passing through Khandallah, on the outskirts of Wellington; (3 and 6) the holiday rush at Thorndon station; (4)transferring inter-island checked luggage; (5) Christmas celebrations at the Hutt Valley Workshops, Wellington.
