Two volumes provide extensive detail regarding the formation and history of Victoria University of Wellington. Eminent historian J.C. Beaglehole's book examines the first fifty years of Victoria University. Published on the University's centenary, Rachel Barrowman's volume looks at one hundred years of history. Both take an in-depth look at the familiar as well as the lesser-known people and events associated with the University.
The Honour Roll is held by the Victoria University Archive and contains names of students and staff who served during World War One. The final two works are related to Professor George Von Zedlitz and the events that led to his departure from Victoria in 1915.
