Your telegram of 19 April (No. 113). The acceptance by His Majesty's Government in New Zealand of the Admiralty's views page 91 is much appreciated. The decisions were reached after the fullest consideration of the situation by the Admiralty, who regret that under the present circumstances no further strengthening of the escort is practicable.
