Appendices I. and II. are reproduced from Australian papers for the purpose of showing that the statements of the New Zealand Conscientious Objectors regarding the barbarities inflicted upon themselves have not been exaggerated. The exposure made by Mr. Corboys, M.P., and the statement of Private Sutton (both of Australia) make it clear that military rule is no respector of persons. The common soldier, whether he hailed from New Zealand, Australia, or Britain was not always exempted from the atrocious treatment meted out to the CO.
