Introduction

Three major papers (Becker, Noodt and Schriever, 1979, Becker & Schriever, 1979, Mielke, 1979) have been published recently that necessitate many amendments to my Keys (Wells, 1976), including the addition of new key-groups. The readers attention is drawn also to Bodin's (1979) new edition of his catalogue of new species. This includes most of the information contained in the General Notes to each of the families in the original keys. As in previous Amendment Bulletins (Wells, 1978, 1979) the page numbers in parentheses are those of the original Keys.
