[Introduction]
Diagnosis: Tentacles with two pairs of digits. Caudal appendage usually long and slender. Deposits not tables but cups (buttons), perforated plates or irregular rods. (Heding, 1931, in part.)
Type Species: Paracaudina chilensis (Müller).
