Poem

To search in the deep caverns of the mind
That each act may be justified.
To take each motive and act, and strain
Through a filter cloth of reason
Until all joy is gone, in the analysis
Of even the most precious experience.
Let us be free from this paralysis
Stilling function by self dissection.
Let us live now with all our force
Having our reason and decision
Clear as the swift course
Of life's action, desire and vision.
