Amongst the Sporrows in November

Amongst the Sporrows in November

This is the thought recalled by the most important resolution of the new Executive's first meeting. It has been decided to inform the Registrar of the N.Z. University that certain halls are considered to be worthy of consideration for the holding of November examinations. Just as well might our thought have been of Captain Oates or of legionaires in tropical climes. We are old campaigners and now for many years we have experienced all the inclemencies and vagaries of Wellington weather in the Winter Show Building.

We feel that a very firm stand should be made by our Executive for they alone are of sufficient authority to make successful representations. In them lies our trust and whether or not it lies in good hands results will prove.

A further matter in the same quarter which merits attention is the levelling of graduation fees.
